The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police has arrested 14 people along with Amrapali Group directors Anil Sharma and Shiv Priya. This arrest has been made in the case of non delivery of the flat. In this case, a case was registered with the EOW in the year 2019.

Fraud in the name of Centurion Park Project

According to the information, in the case filed, it was alleged that Amrapali Centurion Park, a company of Amrapali Group, had launched a project with the same name. The project was in Greater Noida. The company advertised in the leading newspapers of the project and claimed that the project had received approval from the concerned authority.

885 to 2,070 sq.ft. flats

According to the complainant, Amrapali Centurion kept the area of ​​the 2,3 and 4 bedroom, hall and kitchen (BHK) flats from 885 square feet to 2,070 square feet. It was said to provide all modern facilities. The complainant said that seeing this advertisement, he booked 2 flats in 2017 and made his payment in full. The agreement was also made between the two but the complainant did not get the flat.

The case was also registered in 2018

Meanwhile, a total of 168 such complaints were received. In 2018, another Primary Report (FIR) was filed against the builder. These complaints stated that Amrapali Smart City Developers launched the Golf Home project and the flat was to be delivered in 2014. But the builder did not even give it flat. In this way Amrapali’s director has been arrested after all the complaints. However, about 14 such cases are registered on Amrapali Group.

Meanwhile, Santosh Kumar Singh builder has been arrested in the new Mumbai area adjoining Mumbai in another case. He is accused of not giving flats to 64 buyers and cheating them. The police arrested the builder after receiving the complaint. The builder collected 67 lakh rupees from 64 customers between 2013 and 2015. But it did not give anyone a flat. He did not even build a flat during this time.

Recovery is coming in demand for homes

Rating agency Icra has said in a report that there is a recovery in the residential project during FY 2020-21. After a steep decline in the first quarter, it has been rising in the second quarter. It is showing improvement in house sales in cities like Mumbai, Pune, National Capital Region (NCR).

Sales fell in first half in 8 cities

ICRA said that on an annual basis, home sales in the top 8 cities of the country fell by 50% in the first half. However, it is showing recovery on a quarterly basis and growing at 60%. Under construction projects fell 78% in the first half on a quarterly basis. The rating agency said that the sales volume could decline by 45% during FY 2021. However the second half will be better than the first half.

Good sale of plot near Yamuna Expressway

On the other hand, the Express Industrial Development Authority on Thursday allocated 1000 residential projects. The authority expects to raise Rs 336 crore from it. Plot is in great demand here at this time. The Authority has received 2,452 applications for 1,075 plots.
